About me
My artistic journey began early. I grew up with a creative mother who introduced me to acrylic painting and drawing from a young age. Even though she would often laugh and say, “Oh child, I can’t draw that,” she still created the most beautiful animals and my childhood heroes for me. Creativity was always there — natural, close, and part of everyday life.
During my final years of school, I discovered my own passion for art. At that time, I worked mainly with pastel chalks and pencil drawings. Now it was my mother who hung my work on the walls. That moment stayed with me. A spark was lit: Could I become an artist myself?
For the time being, my path led elsewhere. At my parents’ request, I chose a “secure” profession and studied business administration. Growing up in a time of change and uncertainty had shaped their wish for stability for their daughter.
Painting, however, never disappeared. It became my refuge — a place of comfort when I felt lost or misunderstood. I have always been lively, direct, joyful, and full of energy — qualities that are often perceived as too much in everyday life. In art, all of that was allowed to exist. There, I found space to express myself freely and without filters.
During my years as a working mother, I gradually lost sight of myself. My own identity faded into the background, and with it, my art fell silent. It was only after a personal period of transition that creativity returned.
I finally had time again — to rediscover myself and to return to art. I began by drawing small illustrations of my children’s favorite characters, just as my mother once did for me. Later, I let them experiment freely with colors and ink. Watching the colors flow, I felt that spark again.
I started working with mixed media, experimenting with texture paste and acrylic inks. Flowing colors fascinated me more and more. When I discovered acrylic pouring, I was completely drawn in. The movement, the unpredictability, and at the same time the depth of this technique captivated me entirely.
It quickly became clear that I didn’t want to experiment superficially. I wanted to understand, to deepen my knowledge, to grow — to learn how to guide what initially felt uncontrollable. I took part in several courses, including the Fluid Art Mastery Class by Olga Soby, as well as further training in color palettes, finishing techniques, and professional sealing.
Today, my art is more than ever an expression of who I am: vivid, powerful, emotional, and honest. It speaks of transformation, freedom, and the courage to find one’s way back to oneself.
